Safety

Weighted products should be used under the supervision of a suitably qualified person at all times. We recommend that you consult with your Occupational Therapist or other healthcare professional prior to using a weighted blanket or other weighted product. It is important that the weight of your blanket is in proportion to the bodyweight of the person using it. The commonly accepted principal verified by Occupational Therapists is that the weighted blanket should not exceed 10% of the users bodyweight.

The calming weight is contained in our uniquely designed tamper proof pockets ensuring even weight distribution across the blanket for maximum safety and effectiveness.

Measures 200cm x 135cm and is designed to be used on top of your normal bedding (it’s only cotton so won’t make it too hot).

The blanket is available in six weights from 3.2kg to 8kg – please see the weight guide. As your child grows, simply add more weights to the blanket – we sell additional weights! We also have a range of colourful covers available for your blanket making them look like an ordinary duvet and enabling simple cleaning and care.
