The new “Velcro” receptive double sided black/white screens sets are versatile & easy to use in both role play and sensory play. Black one side, white the other means that you have both a dark den & a white projection den in one product. Add plastic mirrors, rope lights & sensory materials to the walls & dangle lightweight materials (ribbons/fabrics) through the handy holes in the removable roof. (Any accessories shown are not included) The design also safely accommodates passing wires for electrical equipment (bubble tubes, projectors etc.) into the inside. Alternatively make a themed den or zig-zag screens across a space with artwork/seasonal decor. By using “Velcro” on your display materials you can decorate both screen sides & make your sensory resources interactive. It is equally easy to create ‘time out’ zones or a reading corner. Fold the set to store & move, and set up for use again in seconds

Safety: Strong, extra thick 32mm diameter plastic tubing made with grooves to enable ‘slot together’ connection. Sufficient space at top or base of screens to pass wires for bubble tubes etc. safely into the interior of the den. Simple construction means rapid access to interior in the event of an emergency. Soft sides and all rounded edges mean protection in the event of a stumble or fall.

Materials: Screen panels are made from a double sided (black one side white the other), velcro receptive fabric with a flexible, fire retardant, 2mm foam centre.

The den can be used white side in or white side out. It is not a blackout den, but it is dark enough for a good sensory experience with lights. The door flap is black both sides. The roof is black both sides.

The den is supplied flat pack ready for push fit assembly. Once the den is assembled the screens can be disconnected or can fold against one another for storage. Take no more than a few minutes for one person to assemble. Extended version: The 2.4m long roof is easier to fit with two persons but can be done by one. The set can be carried by one person, weighs approx. 10kg (2.5kg per screen)
